Lucie + Oscar became a business after Lucy’s son Oscar was born in Singapore in 1995 as she discovered the lack of practical, aesthetically designed clothing for children.
Lucy’s inspiration came from the high quality, well made French childrenswear brands - and also why Lucy is Lucie!
L+O clothing was in 100% soft stretch and woven cottons and the designs comfortable, practical and stylish. The collection also had a very popular swimwear range (all 50+ UV).
The brand was sold in 5 different Asian countries and Australia. Lucie + Oscar was also a successful on-line and mail order business.
